The sound system was amazing. I think that I need to think about taking the band's system up a few notches. |

Anyway you may see a FB friend request this morning. FB suddenly decided to actually suggest a few people I actually have a connection of sorts to today. Normally it's friends of friends of my kids that I've never heard of.

Originally Posted by SpecialBlender Hoping things work out the best for you and your family Tat | Thank you, everyone for all the thoughts, prayers, and good thoughts. I appreciate the support much more than you know. He's in a lot of pain right now and refusing pain meds. His color is really gray and ashy, but it's better than the jaundice of a few days ago. His leukemia is off-kilter, as is is blood sugar and we may be dealing with diabetes on top of this all. I suggested that he come home to Florida with me for a few weeks to recuperate and was informed in no uncertain terms, "When I leave here, I go home or I go to the cemetery, but I ain't going nowheres else and it ain't up for discussion." So, yeah, let's all get off the old coot's lawn, too. His spirit is still here even if his body's not keeping up. It's very clear that he's saying goodbye though. He asked me to come back alone to talk about personal stuff before I go home to Florida and he seemed visibly relieved to know that my sister will be here in a few days. I'm not happy about this, but it's the hand we've all been dealt, so I will do what needs to be done. Quote:
