Good demonstration of Ringo's perfect timing. Bass work is not exactly shabby either.
For a song using just F#m7 and E they rock the heck out of it.

not sure where I was going with that thought process ... or even that there was a thought process.

p.s. this is the first image that comes up if you google-image "furry monkey talkbass."
"Biological reaction"? hahahahaha.

That is a pretty clinical word for being... um... aroused. That sounds really clinical too, but I wasn't how far to go (so to speak) with this one.

And yes, I um... like that image too.

Thank you for your concern but I need to clarify this point. These were not recent events. One was with a shotgun in his mouth in the late 70's and one was an intentional OD after a stoke in the late 90's. I only mentioned them to emphasis that friendship should not be taken lightly.

You can make your own opinions about FB.

After extensive theological studies (from the Tibetian Book of the Dead to the Hopi Indians) it is the only vision that connects the dots for me. When asked, I refer to myself as a Gnostic Christian. I do believe that Christ privately taught reincarnation to his disciples. I also believe that I am on the verge of breaking TB rules and taking this thread somewhere it was not intended to go. Do not want to incur the wrath of my friend Thor.

I feel the same way, i'm here for a reason, i can not go back to The Before until i complete whatever my soul is here for. If I were to "off" this body i will just have to come back in another reset at Level One. Since this body is already up to Level 45 i may as well just ride it out and hope i either finish my mission on this planet or get a better body next time.

As much as i hate this body sometimes (chronic pain), and most of the inhabitants of this planet, i have no desire to start over again, so i just frantically try to figure out why i'm here so i can be done and go Back.

This year has rocked my belief systems to the core. At the end of the day though, it's actually made me and my beliefs stronger. It's funny how that happens...

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers Drummer, FM and PA.

Johnny was at set up yesterday for our gig this afternoon. He's going to try playing a just a few songs with us as he tires quite easily. They are running some more tests next week to figure out the best way to attack the tumor.

He is remaining positive and upbeat as we all are.

Must find some indoor gigs.
DT, with a smile that bright you don't need any of those lights. Looks like you're having some fun.

well I let my emotions lead me today, instead of my brain...but oh well

I walked through a local flea mart, which I do not believe is ever a good idea when you have money in your pocket. I can always find tools that I never knew I needed.
An older guy was selling a squire P bass, and a little Danelectro, Honey Tone walkaround amp. The good news is I am only out $40. The bad news is that I have a craptastic P bass and a little amp that really does not sound like it is for a bass.

I felt sorry for the guy and his lady counting change for coffee. That was my logic behind buying more stuff that I do not need

I can only imagine the emotional toll that you guys are going through. I think it's cool that he wants to play a few songs with you guys..that goes a long way for his sense of well being.

I was having a blast. The lights weren't really needed..they were just there.

I don't think you did anything wrong..you're only out a little bit of cash. That Danelectro amp is meant for electric guitar. Clean em up and flip em.

I've been listening to the recordings from last night's gig (I set up my zoom h1). I am loving the way my rig sounds. Unless an amp pops up that I absolutely cannot pass up, I'm keeping it as-is. If anyone is interested in hearing the recordings, pm me and I will give you the link.

I've been really, really wanting one of these to use for practice and to figure out songs.

I just ordered it.
