Chase away those winter blues!
We actually have a couple of songs that our dogs will specifically come running out of whatever room they're in to sing backup. Probably speaks to the quality of the songs, but well, it is what it is. One time one of them nailed the backing vocals for PJ's Better Man, no lie. It was awesome.
Only almost as cool as MB's slap spinning dog. Quote:

FM, take note. I'm fairly certain this is the only time anyone will ever describe us as the "sanity" as opposed to the "madness". | I was laughing so hard at that! Hellz yeah, we're sanity! And it's in WRITING! |

Glad you got in some quality time DT | Indeed. The wife and I went to a local comedy club on Friday night - the act was a hypnotist. Tomorrow night he is doing a "naughty" show..we're going to it! |

Brought it to practice today, started with the Fender P and after 20 minutes switched to the Lak P 5 - the band liked it, esp. as we were doing Alabama Shakes' "Hold On" where you're playing the low C much of the time. Here are the Lak and the P together:
they may look similar but there are some big differences, including the 35" scale on the Lak.
the Lak also make it unnecessary to use my current 5 string, the EBMM Stingray HH5:
great bass the 'Ray, but kinda saying play me or trade me now.

A better bass will tend to do that. Get rid of the ray and the fender P. Theyre going to be dust collectors now |

I'm sworn off buying gear for a while, just trading. I got very lucky with the Lak, happened to be a guy out there who wanted what I had and wasn't using.
as for the Dean, all I can say is ... you wear it well.
