You have no idea how good your timing was today. I was having one of those days where everyone was getting on my nerves and nothing felt satisfying...
Got yr email, gave these tunes a listen, and I'm so happy that I did. I like all of them, but really, really love Tuscarora Stomp. It somehow managed to turn my mood around completely. I'm in love with this song. And just when I was starting to get squirmy because I couldn't get it on my ipod in the format you sent, you sent it in mp3.
Seriously, if you lived closer, I would drive to your house this instant and kiss you.

When we wrote Tuscarora Stomp I thought about walking barefoot on a hot day in really squishy, cool mud and feeling it oooze between my toes.

When this album was released the musical director of the WV symphony liked it well enough that he wrote symphony arrangements to over half of the songs. As artists-in-residence for the State we played with the West Virginia Symphony backing us on three occasions. It was wild having 87 pieces coming in after having played those songs as a four piece for years. One of those "hair raising" situations.

My Dr just changed my sleep meds so hopefully I'll have more energy again soon.
