Dropbox is what you get after you have kids if you don't do you Kegels.

He probably didn't even use lube either, the inconsiderate jerk. Sorry, had to.
Glad you've got everything back to normal. Don't want you turning Team Edward on us.

Sorry about your friends mom.

Funny tho, after people watching with my Army profiler friend i can see the difference in how i act and how i dance between when i'm in the mood for people or am in the mood to just dance alone to get the stress out. I always wondered why sometimes people will dance with me and sometimes not.
You need a pole. It's a fantastic dance partner; never gets jealous or possessive, goes as long as you can, and inflicts just the right amount of pain to be pleasurable.

I'm a touch out of sorts still. My dad's back through the hospital earlier this week and now back to the nursing home. It's looking more and more like the nursing home is going to be a permanent residence. He's not gonna like that much.

Add on a couple of big projects at work (not that I'm complaining since they're sending me to Europe), but it's a bit busy.

I miss y'all.
Sorry about your Daddy and the nursing home...still hoping for him to get a hot nurse.
Awesome about Europe! Other countries only exist to me as places on the globe...sad but true.

Some of you may recall that I recently submitted a claim to the VA for an injury that I had sustained while active duty.

I got the results.

They rated me at 20% - basically a couple hundred a month, but the important part to me is that the injury is in their system, so if it should worsen, I'll be covered.

FM - DT average the new metric?

Healing will take time...a long time. I have to deal with the pain, numbness, and the weakness until then.

Had a blast at NAMM last week. I had the pleasure of hanging w the good people from Zon, Aguilar, Fodera, and numerous other companies. The place was thick with well known artists, as well as a bunch of great TBers.

I was also glad to have the time to hang with some friends from Modern Drummer, my buddy Bob Fazio, and share some laughs Addison from Zon.

Joe Zon invited me to attend as I'm one of his new Artists. I'm super excited to be getting my custom 6 string from him shortly. I'll post pics and clips once it arrives.

I wish I had two weeks to play all the gear I wanted to check out, and have more conversations w people, but all in all it was a great time.

And good luck getting them to go higher than that.

We've been arguing with them off and on for 6 years now. They insist that hubby's PTSD isn't related because technically he wasn't in a 'combat zone' and the lady from his unit who got killed wasn't someone he had 'personal relations' with (and yeah, their shrink said that right in front of me). All he gets PTSD-wise is a counselor and (finally) some meds. Although it took me threatening to leave to get the meds pushed through (5 years after he came home).

There's a reason the suicide rates are what they are.

Great job FM! Things do get more lively when you drop in!

MB, jealous of your trip. Sweet!

DT, hoping things heal up and you don't need the VA's help in future.

JaamE, sorry about hubby. Hope it gets sorted out too.

Time will tell if I decide to appeal for a higher rating.

PTSD isn't to be taken lightly, IMO. I have it to some degree from what I saw in Somalia - humanity at it's very worst. Just because it's not a physical wound, it's still a wound, and one that won't easily heal. Counselors and drugs help, but I feel there should be some compensation on top of that.

I feel that the shrink was definitely in the wrong for what they said in front of you. The knowledge that a friend got killed in action weighs heavily on a person's mind..it should matter little if your husband had "relations" with her or not.

It's at least as good as the system we're using now. Instead of saying I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall it will be, I'm 5 DTs and 4...um...4... well, now we just have to get someone to admit to being surprisingly below average to measure the unit formerly known as inches...
