Sounds promising.

| | The world owes you nothing. It was here first. | | Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Near Orlando FL | | | Hallo, Ladies and Germs. Miss you all. Weybridge is cold, but I expected that. I'm fighting off a migraine, but otherwise things are getting done at the office. If you're following my facebook, you'll see that I'm at least eating once a day (yes, I'm that person who posts pictures of my food), and that I've had a challenge or two along the way.
I'm pretty sure I will never get accustomed to this whole driving on the wrong side of the road thing. It apparently applies also to walking on the sidewalk and down hallways, in stairwells, and going through doors. I've left more than one mark on residents of the office and the city so far and I'm only on Day 2 1/2. I'm starting to fear that if I bump into even one more person, they'll either make me wear some kind of warning device or leave the city entirely. :/
I've applied adventure mode to eating. A lot of people from work told me they didn't care for the food here, but I'm not one to listen to that. Half the fun of being somewhere new is the experimentation. So - for dinner each night, my server gets asked to bring me their favorite thing on the menu that does not have shellfish or mushrooms (I'm allergic to those). So far, it's been a good experiment. Monday night got me homemade ciabatta bread, some really great olive oil and spices, a salad and pasta with the best arrabiatta sauce I've had outside my own kitchen followed by sticky toffee pudding. Last night was a pub classic of honey cured ham and bubble and squeak topped with a fried duck egg and followed by pancakes (crepes but not rolled up) with fresh orange sauteed in juice and Grand Marnier with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Let's see what tonight's adventure holds, shall we?
Miss you all much!!!!

Are you driving on the wrong side of the road at night yet? That's when it really gets interesting.

I'm walking, not driving, but I've learned that you have to walk on the other side, too. I have a bruise or two from bumping into people to prove it. LOL.

Tat, Sounds like you are having fun and have a few battle scars to prove it! Maybe we should have sent you with a shield to keep those pesky pedestrians out of your way.
EasyJames, haven't seen you in awhile. Nice to have a cowboy around these parts again.
Jo6Pak, Very nice pic, and welcome!
tomydacat, did I see on FB that your band had a gig recently? Or maybe one coming up? Would love to see a video. (If you already posted one, sry, I still need to go back and look through the last week or so...)
