I did not wake until 11:30 today but when I did, all was good. Then we relaxed a bit, ordered some Pizza for lunch and then virtually undecorated the whole house. Then I grilled a bunch of steaks (rib-eye) on my charcoal grill and we had a great family dinner.

A good day!

Howdy CWB and MoCWB. I've missed you all. So - to contribute just a teeny bit....

I found new basses I liked.

Hung with my girls...

Got a little wild on the town....

Every girl needs a friend who will hold her hair out of the way....

...and to remind her not to spill....(which I did)

But not on this one...

It's not spilling if you get it on your nose, is it?

mmm, love me some Tat. And PA and Furry too.

My New Year's resolution is to meet in person the Thumps I haven't met yet, and meet up with the other one too.

I walked down to the local watering hole for an open mic night and caught some great performances.

Walking home I took a bad fall on some ice and really #$%&ed up my shoulder pretty good.

I took a pain killer (which I never do...) and I'm headed to bed.

If this hurts any thing like this in the morning, I'm going to have to hit an emergency room.

Can't wait to see you guys. Don't make it too late though...I'm leaving that last week to head to boot camp in reading. Right now the plan is to leave for reading about the 26ish.

Mike feel better soon. I took a fall last night too. Found myself laying flat on my back on the ice in the nursing home parking lot seeing stars.

I'm saddened to share that my friend and Sunday Jazz jam drummer, Leo Gayten, passed away yesterday. I'd appreciate it if you could send good vibes to his family, and in particular his young daughter, Lisette. Leo was a beautiful, peace-filled cat and a smoking drummer ... he'll be sorely missed ....
