Meant to say it awhile back, but really beautiful bass, Tat! It suits you well. Bet you are excited to get your hands on it.

Hope the benefit for Jimmy goes well, Drummer. Take it easy on the shoulder.

Good luck, Mike. Hope it is a major success. Don't have any more "senior moments"!

Went to see Jonny Lang and Buddy Guy last night. Jonny Lang was terrific but by the end of Buddy Guy's first song nobody remembered Lang was in the house.

So much happening this week..

I am celebrating my 17th wedding anniversary tomorrow. I am also nervously waiting on what is going to happen with this sequestration stuff. Saturday..however..

My stupid arse is going to jump out of an airplane while strapped to another lunatic. I have a fear of heights..so this is really going to push that to the limits.

Oh i want to do that SO bad, my Army friend said he'd do it with me when he comes back (next flippin March) but if he continues to limit his interaction with me because of the girlfriend i may do it myself for my Bday in September. Things with her should settle down once he's back over there with her so I'll ask him over the summer if he wants out of that Promise to jump with me.

Thanks. She's waiting for me in Philadelphia. Will be there in a couple of days.

Congrats on the anniversary. 17 years is a big big deal. Props to you and the missus.

That skydiving thing.....why would you wanna jump out of a perfectly good airplane?

Really. If you want to take risk involving a plane, get on one and fly to meet up with a Thumpketeer. (Or JaamE.)

Congrats on the anniversary. I'm coming up on 33 years and 4 therapists later.

Big plans for this weekend. My buddy Mike M is coming from Baltimore. He is a leap year baby, same day as me and used to sing with us in college. So it's the 'It Ain't My Birthday But We're Going to Party World Tour". Includes 2 jams, a couple of lunches and dinners, Brown U vs Colgate hockey game, last game of the season. I am off work Thursday at 1, and his plane comes in at 3.

The new band is coming together well, some soundclips here.
This was the third week with our new drummer, Vinnie the Foot. Terrific drummer with great dynamics.

I ran into a guy Sunday who talked me into going over to Billy Goode's in Newport RI for a jam, mostly younger guys. The bassist was kind enough to let me use his lil Mark and Avatar 1x15. Super bottom on that, not much snarl though. He played guitar instead and didn't seem unhappy about it. They started kind of late, 10PM. I got about 3 hours in with one 5 minute break.

I had 2 different people call me yesterday that were there that needed a bassist, one for studio work, jingles, etc. The other guy said I made the night. You don't get many compliments in life, so getting kudos from other musicians is gratifying for sure. The second guy took some pics so here is your fave mod showing the young gunslingers how to rock an old Ibby 84 Roadster all night long.
