CWB: Hey 19

I think we had some kind of agreement. So We're reeling in 18 and the tears. I've had enough of mine. So hears to Eton Crow and the 19 new songs he learned for the Audition That Never Was.

I am going to need a list of the 19 tunes though.

Continued from here.

The viking helmet and the mock laughter really make the video.

<getting all my instrument jokes out of the way in one post>

If my instrument was as sexy as yours, I'd never close my eyes while I played it.

No doubt I would have, but as it stands it is just too much for me to handle. I wouldn't be able to stand with it (or after it).

originally posted by Chuck3 it's so funny about your Sienna post - I was a soccer dad for many years and have an '04 Sienna that has trucked teams around the northeast. Those years ended simultaneously with my getting back into a band but I hung on to the Sienna just in case we needed a moving vehicle. It has ended up being the band's gig vehicle, which it is perfect for as your post shows. I don't really use it for anything else.
Chuck! You're a minivan guy too? Love it!
We should start a bassists who drive minivans club...we'd totally be as cool as the bassists who ride motorcycles club.

I disagree...its usually more fun with your eyes open, that way you can take in the spectacle...um...of all the people in the audience dancing...

hah ... the Sienna is not my regular ride any more. It waits patiently in the garage until gig nights and then emerges ... once a soccer van, now a rocker van!

not that my Subaru is some kind of exciting car, but it does the job very well and is what I need - going between Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley every week I drive a highway called the Taconic that really needs some 4WD.

Taconic sounds like some awful thing you'd have done to you at the doctors office.

The rocker van still counts.
