This one isn't that bad, but I gotta testify anyway.

Just did a show at the Good Hurt Club and was thrilled with the results! we drew the biggest crowd we had and sounded the best we ever had (once we finally got started). Setup took and extra 10 minutes because my cab wouldn't produce any sound (later four out it was a lost fuse). The sound guy put me through the PA and we were off and running finally....

For some zany reason my fingers decided (half way through the set) they didn't want to pluck anymore, that was fine because all the songs I absolutely must pluck were behind us. went on to tire my wrist out quickly, (usually not an issue) and was struggling to keep up.

None of this mattered to me because the main problem my band has had is that we always looked a little nervous, and tonight **** got loose. Everyone was flopping about and putting on a good show. I was proud! I was stompin the ground and moving like a big ugly ballerina! it was fun! I had some people in the audience getting video. I collected it all. To my dismay I found that I was only visible like %15 percent of the time. my old timey curly guitar cable was bunched up and not looped around my strap. And to top it all off last song some random light shone my way, only to finally illuminate me trying to untangle myself from my old timer curly guitar cord. it was dark.

Played there last month. Awesome setup. Good lighting. Good sound in the audience according to the wife. No matter how many times we asked, couldn't get enough keys in the monitors though. The staff were cool and we got free drinks.

Well, that made me have to check the place out (online, that is, as I don't live in L.A.).

After checking out their website, I learned that the grown-up Theodore Huxtable plays bass.
