Talking Deaf musicians joke

Three old guys, after playing for many years at loud venues, are taking a walk, chatting--

Guitar player: "Man, it's windy."

Drummer: "Naw, it's Thursday."

Bass player; "Me, too. Let's go get a beer."

Sound like anyone you know?:

I have always had extremely sensitive hearing in the very high end. I hear the screechy capacitor sound from monitors, TV's, etc. etc. very well. You get used to it and tune it out eventually, but I can spot a leaky cap from miles away. Anyway, one day I commented about a high-pitched squeal in the room and it turns out someone was turning a monitor on and off to see if I could tell when it was present (the squeal) and when it wasn't. (I could tell and made note of it.)

So he said in response to that, "Well, at least you haven't destroyed your ultra-high end hearing on gigs."

And I said, "Huh?"

(GET IT... I COULDN'T HEAR HIM... SITUATIONAL IRONY!)

i got pulled over one night driving my band's van/trailer home after a show and the cop asked what i was doing. and i explained my band just played a show and i was on my way home, he made a joke about live music and i promptly responded with "huh??". he laughed, but still made me take a sobriety test. so i parallel parked the van and trailer and hopped out. he laughed again and told me to "get outta here"
