Some pics of the places my son is touring in December (summer here). Lucky bugger, but I'm not letting him take the Fodera unless he insures it first.

1 night stand in Mackay.

1 night stand at the Long Island Resort.

1 night stand at the Hamilton Island resort.

2 nights at Airlie Beach

3 nights at DayDream Island Resort and Spa.

1 night stand at the Gold Coast, NSW.

1 night stand in West End, Brisbane.

1 night stand in Byron Bay...one the finest surfing beaches in the world

So how much is it costing him to take this gig? Can I bid on it? I've visited some of those places, and they really are as beautiful as the pictures make them out to be......

Well apparently all the accommodation, food and travel are paid for by the artist who is hiring him, and there is a bit of money in it too, not much though. The WhitSunday Islands are beautiful, and Byron Bay is my idea of heaven

Looks to me like you'd be better served by waterproofing the Fodera instead of insuring it!

Lucky bugger indeed - that part of Australia is unbelievably beautiful. Byron Bay is gorgeous - and the girls are too!
