Everyone knows how grandparents are. Sentimental about everything and it times, somewhat corny. My grandmother got a picture formatting page that says "Rockstar". Cheesy, but you know. It had a few pictures of me in it. The format was burgundy and black so it was kinda hard to see but on the right side of the paper was. . . *Tear* a gibson sg guitar. I died a little inside when I saw the guitar there.

What's wrong with an SG? It's one of the lightest and easiest to play gitfiddles out there.

I'm guessing his answer will be "it's not a bass." +1 though on SG's though. I always love to play with a guitar player with a nice SG.

Count your lucky stars that your Grandma loves you. I'm very lucky that at my age of 53,my Grandma on my Dad's side is alive and well, soon to turn 98 this month, and she's still sharp as whip mentally. I know I cherish her wit and wisdom more than ever in my life, and yes she did do those little cheesy, well intended, displays of affection for me, that sort of bugged me a little at times when I was younger. You are a very lucky young man indeed.

Cut out a pic of your bass and stick it on over the SG.
