Don't do his job. He's got it. He doesn't need your help. Even if he does it wrong.

If this guy runs sound as good as he does math, then I side with the chick.

Dude, she was flirting that's all. I'm 48 and not terribly bright but I figured this out. I had something similar happen to me once. My experience was...more enjoyable than yours. :-)

Cripe. I don't even let people in my own band wrap cables until I've trained them how to do it properly.

When I first read the story, I thought the lady was annoying... can't stand when people brag on themselves. But then I read the other comments and kind of agree that she might've been just trying to flirt with you...

God knows we've ALL looked like a-holes because we got nervous and said some stupid things.

Sounds like she was really drunk and wanted to take you home but was having trouble verbalizing because of the booze.

Whatever else she was, she was a drunk. I don't go home with drunks. I don't go home with non-drunks, either - my wife would have a huge problem with that.

She was probably a little drunk and had her advances turned down several times during the course of the evening by other gentlemen and you were her last glimmer of hope. When you showed no interest you became the target of all her man hating fury that had come to a head from an evening filled with rejection. Alcohol and lack of personality what a wonderful concoction. Love bar gigs!

Yeah... I make it a point to never go home with anyone that isn't worth half my stuff.
