hi all, so... the question is , did you ever slept with a bass??
last night i was playing a bit unplugged to warm up my fingers and so... laying flat on my back, in my bed.... one thing took to another...
kidding...
the thing is that i woke up this morning with the bass still over me... without strap or anythin, i just sleept the entire night hanging to it... i wish iīve dreamed i played... lotīs of practice time wasted if not!!!
itīs note the first time something like this happens... usually its just a nap... "siesta"... it never happened like this night...
by the way, its a solid body jazz bass... no f-holes jokes please |

I dont have a story or anything. Just wanted to do it so I could say I did.
Decided to go with my fretless, you know... It would just be more comfortable. |

edit: Hey, my 3000th post!

| | zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz | | Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Scotland | | | I have a recording somewhere of me falling asleep as I'm playing...
My band often records ourselves jamming to get new ideas for songs, sometimes combining the effort with a few beers. One time, I zoned out completely as I was playing guitar... suddenly I'm playing weird, angular, atonal nonsense.
Our drummer falls asleep pretty regularly at rehearsals... the drums just stop, you turn round and he's sitting there fast asleep with his sticks in the air. |

I keep my bongo under my bed, does that count?

One of them started getting into drugs, and sold all of his gear, so me and the other guy started sleeping with our feet propped up on our amps and holding our instruments(my bass and his guitar) so that he couldnt get to them. |

I often practice late into the night, often having come in late from band or whatever I've been doing that night, or simply cause I don't get round to doing any practice until late. So often I sit on the bed, tired, bass in hand. Next thing I know it's the next morning and I have the impression of the Shergold crest on my cheek.
