"jesus christ, did a bass player murder your entire family?"
The guitarists stick up for us, but little do they know....

I'm considered a good guitarist by anyone I've ever played with. I ought to be, it's been my main instrument for close to 40 years. Ten years ago, when I picked up the bass, I was just a guitarist trying to play bass. For the last couple of years the bass has been my instrument of choice and I'm trying to become an actual bassist. Having some success with it, too. |

| | | | what an idiot
bass and drums are the most serious instruments in a band because they keep all the rhythm
and we are not just playing easy notes
furthermore we are not failed-guitarists
i can play guitar very good but i decide to play bass because i love it and like it more than the guitar |

I was thinking that too.
The majority of guitarists are cool. ... of course, bad apples everywhere... even among bassists. |
