So I played a gig here on campus (Oberlin College) Friday. I had to jet from the gig to lacrosse practice right afterwards and left my bandmates (and most trusted friends
) to bring my gear home. Well, they brought my basses and my head, but somehow left my new Eden 2x10 behind.
Well, I played another gig in the same place for the big 4/20 fest here on campus, and luckily for me, the Concert Sound folks jacked my cab before some other band could and put it in their storage. Not only that, they liked it so much they are going to start renting it from me for $50 a day when they need it.
I got my cab back (completely undamaged), made some money, played a gig on a beautiful day, got to chill in the crowd with a bunch of hotties and scored a free t-shirt.
Being a bassist is the best!
