Yup.

Secondly, they are BOTH spending the money on the babysitter. This issue isnt about her, she has the right to go to his gigs if she wants, she likes to (at least it seems like she does), and just because she goes to alot of his gigs (NOT EVERY SINGLE ONE) doesnt mean that she doesnt trust him.

The real issue here is that he doesnt like spending some of the money he's making from his gigs (roughly 1/3 of it) but if they really were equal partners in this marriage, he should be ok with her having her fun while he's out playing in his band. He states he still brings home about $200 a weekend.
I wish I brought home $200 a weekend...

I'd gladly let my girlfriend run up my bar tab if I was bringing home $200 in a weekend. Actually, a few weeks ago I made $200 in 3 hours doing an easy fill in gig for a friend, the first thing I did afterwards was take my gf out to buy her some clothes. Then we went out drinking together. I love to spoil her.

well, I go to my bf's gigs (he is in a house band) every weekend and I buy my own drinks (sometimes he slips me cash), and I am not tired of hearing him play but yes, I do have that trust issue too...I am a very jealous person..however, I got "groupies" too-fans of my bass playing, so I really can't say much!
