I did a quick Google search and found, "Terry Span, Guitarist In Colo. Band Aleister Wild, Dies After Fight With Bandmate".

Terry Span, Guitarist In Colo. Band Aleister Wild, Dies After Fight With Bandmate

That is so sad.

Not the normal outcome for a load out situation....

Single punch...must have hit his head on something.

"Trucking firm owner Sorden, described as having "anger management issues", was on parole for a 2009 felony after firing four shots into the cab of another driver."

...Sounds like a real peach.

Well it is Ultimate-Guitar and I suspect most of them are young. I am also guessing that many of them made the assumption that the guy would live.

Did anyone read this comment?

My Chemistry teacher beats the hell out of stuff all the time... Today he got pissed and punched his filing cabinet once and now the door is dented so badly he can no longer open the drawer at all. So yeah, a punch could easily fracture any bone. But this accident was not just from a skull break. My parents work in the hospital and get on to me for fighting because of the patients they see that are in the same position as this story where the punch was landed in just the right spot to ruin their life. A punch to the right spot of the back can cause you to become paralyzed. Fighting is way more dangerous than it seems. People are just lucky.
How is it that a teacher like that can stay employed? Yeah, I know, off topic, but still. . . .

Now that made me laugh! Must have been hilarious to witness.

For a time I have been practicing martial arts, and the golden rule is? AVOID fighting as much as possible, even if you have to run away. Only fight back if there is no other option left. So, yes, even people who know how to defend themselves avoid fighting at all because they KNOW fighting is way too dangerous and even the "victor" (so to speak) can leave badly injured.

Very sad.

Anyone else see this in the comments under the article? Gave me a chuckle.

Edit. Sorry the first line is one person and the second is a response to the first

Very sad. I knew someone who died trying to break up a fight. He got punched, and hit his head the wrong way when he went down. Makes you think.
