Dragonforce drinking game

So the next time you're hanging with your metalhead friends, you know brushing your lucious locks, wearing black band t shirts or changing the strings on you steinberger, grab your beverage of choice and drink when you hear the magic words. The unofficial list is as follows;

Far beyond,
Far away,
Heaven(s),
Dark(ness),
Fight,
Dream(s),
Heart,
Forever,
Evermore,
etc.

If hearing Herman Li's facemelters puts you into air-guitaring convulsions, stop drinking. Air-playing anything is only funny the first 5 se-
actually it's not funny at all, you have more pride than that. Enjoy!

Are you suggesting... That the best bass for metal is a Steinberger?

That was exactly what I was thinking when I read that.
And all I could think of was Sonseed's "Jesus is a friend of mine"

The actual phrase is "So Far Away"

Seeeeeeee?!?! IDK if "you can't make this stuff up" is the right phrase, but with lyrics like that, this band was just asking for a drinking game!

As for the the "best bass for metal" comment, my first thought was BC Rich instead of Steinberger, but that implies a different kind of crowd borderlining on unfortunatly gimmicky as of late. I like both companies, the Steinberger seemed to fit the metal stereotype thus playing into my humor.

"Is this the best use of a Steinberger?" lol! When that thread was first posted, it quickly became the ear worm weapon of choice around our household. Just when you thought it was safe, when you were enjoying a moment of peace because it had stopped playing over and over in your head - bam! - someone would blast it, just to make your day. I'm so glad we've moved on...

If I was in a symphonic/power metal band, I think I'd just give in and write a song called "Love Fire Night Wings Forever Dragon Shadow Sword Hero Baby" that uses every cliché in the book. That way, once you guys are all passed out, I could switch to my standard humorous/SCIENCE!! lyrics and make your heads explode.

I love games like this....usually because I pick the words which aren't repeated all that often.

Hey, don't diss us Steinberger players like that. Not all of us listen to that garbage.

The first time I ever saw that, I was certain it had to be a parody remix like this

I wish I was 21 just so I could play.
(Also, is it bad that I used to really like them? I still envy the guitaristry)

Thats basically what they do. Very funny guys and they have a lot of fun doing it. They basically just see what they can get away with it, how cheesy can they make it, how fast can they play it etc.
