Drive carefully

I was night driving home in the four wheel drive last night with the family, cruising at around 80-90kmh.

"I know what boys like" by the Waitresses is playing on the radio and during a crazier part, my missus she asks whether there's some slap bass going on there? Woohoo babe!!

Challenged to discover this information, I begin listening closely...waiting for the part to return. As I start to hear the lead in, a right hand bend beckons...I take note of it then intently listen as the part comes in.

I can hear the line as I lean into that bend a wee bit too fast, but she'll hold there's a challenge!!! The car's body rolls a little too much and as I come out of the corner she wobbles before cruising back straight and the kids are in the back laughing and the missus is staring at me and as I feel smaller and smaller I hear myself gently respond.

"I think there's a little slap yeah, but I'd have to listen to it again".

Suffice to say, there was plenty o'slappin' from that point on

So guys and gals please, keep your priorities straight when driving...I could have rolled the car with my family in it for the sake of finding out something I didn't end up finding out!

Yes, there's definately some slap in that song.

Just turned it on in fact, The Who's Won't Get Fooled Again just finished. LOL.
