Ok, I'm a sophmore in high school and I'm in a band, a lot of my friends are also in bands or at least some kid of side project(I made friends with a lot of musicians). All of us are in the same grade and there is one band that one of my friends is in, well not really a band due to them never practicing and pretty much sucking too. They never released any kind of demo and had a small myspace page that had a total of maybe 70 some friends, all were just people from school. One day at the mall some dude easily 10 years older than their bassist just walked up and was like "Hey are you eric of aces or spades?". This dude was total serious too, which is amazing because the band is pretty much a joke. On like their only track too the bass line was really simple, pretty much all on E and A b/w 5 and 7, a very simple rhythm riff so it wasn't like it was an amazing bass line. I just thought that was kinda funny how some dude reconized a bassist from a horrible bad, that doesn't gig and never has, for not that big of a deal on a bass line. |

What? Let me get this straight,a kid in a band that isn't a very large band was recognized by a random person, and you think that it's goofy because they are a small band? What was the "it was only E Ab 5 7" part? Do you mean the chords of the song where E Ab5add7 or do you mean E then Ab then A played at the 5th fret and finally B played at the 7th fret, or something else completely?
Your post confused me
