I still have a BP ad on and I give each of these guys a chance to tell me what their project is.
It's always mind boggling. And when they sound semi-serious, I ask them to email me a song list or a set list for an audition.
But 90% of the time, nothing comes up. They either lack gut, or talent, or both.
The Phoenix area has a lot of smart people, believe me, mostly in IT, but also a lot of idiots.
Somehow they all own a guitar and have access to the Internet.

Great Shape. Great eye catching metallic/Candy Apple Red color.
This bass has a couple features that most Squires don't have, which are the same as more expensive Mexican Fenders: Skunk Strip on back of neck, plus a removable/replaceable truss rod nut, so it's basically the same a s a MIM Jazz Bass.
|
This one's special because you can remove the truss rod nut! Sweet! I guess that my $40 Fretless Squier Affinity P-bass just got worth a lot more. And this guy's a local luthier.

420 and "fruity loops"...mmmm...froot loops...
I feel untied already...
The funniest thing in a while is the "adults and guitar players" line, though.

Not to disparage the noble spoon players out there, but how many times have you been playing in a band, live, on stage, fully mic'd and amped with your giant full stack, and said to yourself "You know what would be awesome? If we had someone playing spoons, and there was a way to amplify them"
