Dumb Things Sold (or "I Wish I Had Held Onto That!")

So what are yours?

Here's mine:

EBS Fafner head and an SWR Triad cabinet. Sounded great, but I needed cash and some space in my place. I should've sold the Carvin Head and the Aguilar 4x10 instead.... (~slaps head~) It was one of those things where as I was taking the money, I was thinking "Oh, no! This is a mistake!" It was. I've had other combos for heads and cabinets, and haven't found one that sounds quite as good yet.

I also sold an ART Ultrafoot Midi controller foot pedal for $20. It was missing the power supply. Again, I needed cash, and was moving and needed space. New, it was something like $150, but it actually rose in price after they stopped making them. Some guy called just after I sold it saying that he wouldn't feel good about giving me anything less then $100 for it. Dumb...

What's yours?

Man, talk about playing into my phobia.... I never sell anything, ever. I have loads of crap stock piling around me for a number of hobbies and Thinking I will never get what they are worth I figure I'm better off holding onto them.

I just get the feeling of Sellers Remorse (never seem to have buyers remorse though....)

Now because of this post I'm never lettin g anything go, thanks for that!!!

I've been playing for yrs....and although many pieces of gear came and went I can honestly say I only have 2 things I regret selling.
1) 1970 Fender bassman head....Man that thing sounded good...I kick myself for that.

2) 1983 Squier SQ P-bass....The BEST playing and one of the BEST sounding basses I ever had! BUT this mistake I fixed...I found another one EXACTLY like it and bought it (only for a hundred bucks more than I first paid, OUCH! But she plays the same and sounds just as good) The worst part about the first one is that the dealer I bought it from was the Fender rep. and had gotten one of the first batches made.....
But live and learn.....

I sold my 1968 Fender Precision Bass in 1972 plus a Sunn 200 bass amp with two 15" Jbl's both for $350. I only received one payment of $150.

Both versions of the Ampeg Rocket combos I had. I'd really like the B-50R now, huge tone for something so portable..
