Though the guy already lost some dough with the insertion fees and now he will loose some serious cash on final value fee, since someone bid on it.

If that doesn't sell, I see a divorce in the works if she finds out how much that thing is really worth, and how much he put it up there for...

Blue Book says $4250 for 100% New condition, which it most definitely is Not

Judging from the pics, I'd put it at 70% VG - $2000 tops. Maybe a few hundred more in a severely inflated market like NYC

At least he's got his priorities in order. Better to lose a bad wife than a good bass

I seriously doubt anyone would pay 100k for it...i think hes got either another account or a mates account so he can put some shill bids in, which as said before ....will cost him more in fees. he'd be better to finally wear the pants and tell his wife to sell some dresses and shoes that have been used once and gathering dust in her closet!

Interesting.....

Didn't think to check out the bidder until now (not like you can get much info these days)

Two feedback but neither of them Positive, plus a rather interesting twist:

two other items being bid on in the category Strumenti musicali > Bassi

eBay Italy

Or someone who wanted to transfer $100 000 dollars to the seller without acting suspicious..

Never thought of it before but eBay/paypal is probably used for a lot of shady things.

It's always funny when someone uses a word like "genius" but doesn't know the difference between "ad" and "add".

It's even funnier when someone is compelled to prop them self up by putting someone else down.
