Had a gig Friday night, and the singer brought his camcorder to record the set, or try to. Camera has a knack for randomly stopping when it's recording, don't know why, but it's quite annoying. We got the first 4 songs of the night, and chunks of a few others.
Best part:
We do an instrumental where I get a nice little solo section. The video records perfectly all the way from the beginning of the song to the first note of my solo, then stops recording. It resumes recording on the outro of the song. Damn thing cut out my entire solo.
No respect...

| | | | Not tripping anything in the circuits, but if it's a hard drive camera the vibrations could cause the heads to bounce on the platter making it error out. |

I did a little researching after I posted this since the issue was fresh in my mind, and the problem was the loud music causing the camera to park the hard drive heads (has a drop sensor). They didn't unpark, so the buffer overflowed, and the camera stopped.
The camera has a memory stick port, so I passed the suggestion on to the singer to get one.

What I do instead is get the whole band to help me write bass-oriented music.
