Ever have to use the restroom during a gig?

So was was practicing a song the today and suddenly felt the urge to poop. So I crossed my legs and tried to push (pun intended ) throught the rest of the song. Let's just say the face I made would have been good if I were playing a metal song....

So this got me thinking, have you ever had to poop while on stage? What did you do about it?

Luckily enough, I can hold it until the break... unless it's of the liquid variety. I've had a couple of close calls, but nothing on the bandstand.

Yep

I had cold symptoms and diarrhea. Obviously, I could not hold it in so we stopped at the end of a song and I went and went back ASAP. Everybody knew including the audience. Eh, beats the alternative.

For this is the reason why I do not eat right before or during a gig, only after. I also make sure I eat something stomach friendly earlier in the day.

Nothing like chili dogs that start barking hours later while in the middle of a set.

No, but I have jammed with guitarists and drummers that sounded like it!

I make sure to expell all liquids and solids before going on stage. Farts are acceptable though just make sure that you're standing next to the drummer, cuz he can't move!

You could be like G.G Allin and make it part of the show.

The singer in my band likes to do this. He'll let one go and then walk away and wait for the reaction. During our last show, I actually screwed up the bass part because the smell was so strong that it cut off the oxygen to my brain for a few seconds.

Oh, sorry, ya'll making me have to go before I can read all this...

EDIT: Ok, that's better. No, I haven't had to go while onstage, but now that I've read this...oh crap.
