I auditioned for a metal band Saturday and nailed it. Since I can also play DB today they fired their keyboardist who was one of the founding members... they figure if I play arco then they don't need keyboards. They've been looking to replace him with violin or flute anyway.
At this rate in two weeks I'll replace everybody else in the band and in three years I shall rule the world!

That works out conveniently.

A solo bass act playing "folkmetal" on a DB. Let me know where you'll be playing - I gotta see this one!

"Solo Folk Metal Bass"
That would be almost like Stanley Clarke's "flamenco" style, but with more jumping around and headbanging...hope you're in shape!

And if they fire me I'm still playing in three other bands.
