Volume is one thing, but I don't see much of a problem with the rest (unless the one all the way down on the right is some master control). The highest thing on my amp, the bass, is at 12 o'clock, because that's where I get good tone. If I need more volume, there's a volume control for that. |

Playing bass for Metallica has got to be one of the worst gigs on the planet. Just ask Newsted, it damn near destroyed him... physically and otherwise. |

I don't know why he wastes his talent playing with that band.

I don't know why he wastes his talent playing with that band. | I can only imagine that his incredibly small piece of the pie is still more than we can ever hope to make in a normal job, not to mention playing music!

I actually bought 2 CD's this saturday with Trujillo on it (Infectious Grooves and Suicidal Tendencies). Pretty funky and a really cool style.

I don't know why he wastes his talent playing with that band. | Seriously. He should tell the band that he's quitting and I'm taking over.
Hell, I won't even USE an amp.

It's a money-printing "guitar god" band with crappy lyrics and a really boring drummer. The bass is, really, unimportant. Trujillo has the gig because he looks cool on stage and wanted the money.
