No weirder than some of the other threads here.

What's yours?

Mine is sushi. Not that I get to it much, but it's my favorite before a gig.
BBQ is prolly a close second.

The obvious answer is a bowl of mean green, but to eat, something light with a bite: Chili dawg.

On the Blues circuit --it is almost ALWAYS BBQ (usually free)
But I can't eat much before the gig, I try to save it for after I'm done singin'.

Meat Ends. The deli at our local grocery packages leftover ends of meat and cheese and sells 'em at $1.99 / lb. On friday its usually a quick stop in there for coffee and to see if there's any in the deli case.

For me... I've only been playing since september 2007, still kinda new blood, but I don't play for more than 60 people, and still get very anxious, so for me..... usually a rooibos tea with some ginger and honey.

+1 Good Sushi is hard to get within walking distance of most venues Free food is always good. We've had fans bring us baked goods, pizza and one even cooked us dinner after a show Gotta love it.

P.S. I saw your band in March with Gone By Daylight @ Pearl St. I really liked your set, and your rig.

Before our youth group worship sessions, we'd go to Taco Bell.

If its a funk/blues gig, I usually have my own fried chicken and cabbage. If Im on the move, I go by and get some fried fish (usually catfish) and and slaw on the way. I make sure I have hot sauce and red koolaid specifically. I like to believe it makes my groove greaaasy . If its any other, I usually eat light, like a chicken wrap and water LOLOL.
