Mine is sushi. Not that I get to it much, but it's my favorite before a gig.
BBQ is prolly a close second.

+1 Good Sushi is hard to get within walking distance of most venues  Free food is always good. We've had fans bring us baked goods, pizza and one even cooked us dinner after a show  Gotta love it.

If Im on the move, I go by and get some fried fish (usually catfish) and and slaw on the way. I make sure I have hot sauce and red koolaid specifically. I like to believe it makes my groove greaaasy  . If its any other, I usually eat light, like a chicken wrap and water LOLOL.
