In every band that I have ever been in there comes a time to do band member intros or other transitions (breaks, next band, etc). this is usually some simple bluesy number that gives each guy (or gal) a chance to jam/do a lead. The other night my current band and I tried out "On Broadway" as such a backdrop for our intros. IT WAS AWESOME! It's got a great groove and gave everyone a chance to shine. Best of all the crowd loved it and one person asked if it was an original (??) I was just wondering what other bands/bass players like to play for such occasions. thanks. |
