Finally out of a slump

I haven't written anything I really enjoyed in a while, it's been bummin' me out. Today I picked up the 5-string, and played this little riff. I liked it, so for the next 20 minutes I added onto it, finding all the notes I wanted. I got it all finished, and i'm damn pleased with it. It's been a while since I wrote a bassline I was excited to bring to band practice.
