First Gig in 23 years! Sort of.....

Not really a 'gig' but did play on the church's worship team tonight. Only started playing again a few months ago, jamming with some other guys too. Then the pastor asks me to fill in unrehearsed. Had a blast, only got lost once on songs I didn't even know so it was fun. This is a totally different type of playing for me and I know it will make me a better bassist. Cool stuff. Helps build my ever struggling faith too, more about that elsewhere.

Congrats! I've played for my church for a few years now. Definitely different but also definitely a learning experience. Sounds like you had fun.
