First Gig ever booked... On my 21st B-day!

This may be a terrible idea, but my band has booked its first show at a metal festival on my 21st. I, for one, am super excited about this birthday gift. This will be my first real show with what is easily the best band I have ever joined. I can barely sleep because I am so psyched! I'll just have to try to lay off the booze until we get off stage of course. Has anyone else had a similar experience? How did it go for you guys?

Congrats on the gig! Stay off the booze until you're done like you said, then pop a few to a job well done.

I really have nothing to add though. My birthday is on a holiday, so I try to avoid playing those day's.

Congrats as well and good luck to you. Make sure to take some pics of yourself and the band while there and share some later.

If this is your first gig, you definitely want to keep it to halfa glassa something to nothing when you go on.

It's gonna be lots of fun. Do your homework - then enjoy.
