First gig with fretless today

I'm a bit nervous - more than usual pre-gig.
This guy (great songwriter and guitarist in the Reverend Gary David kind of acoustic blues style) heard me playing fretless ABG at an acoustic jam, asked me if I'd record some tracks with him, and it turned into a (great) regular thing.
This is my first gig with him, and my first gig on fretless in an awful lotta years.
Should be fun, though.
This morning the slide guitar riff from "Sweet Home Kokomo" came to me, and it sounds pretty cool on fretless bass, so we'll see if that works its way in when we do that tune.
Here's to big groovin' fun!

Gig rocked
I played in mostly on pitch
Plus this guitarist encourages me to take a few solos per set.
The songs sounded great, we had fun, and the audience enjoyed.
Hard to beat that.
Oh, and the PA was the groovy Bose L1 system. Sounded great.
