I joined a band about 6 months ago and we played our first gig tonight
Seemed to go really well from what feedback I got. There werent as many people there as I'd hoped but there was like £120 at £3 a head so could have been worse. I got a friends band to play for 45 mins then we went on and played for 1hr and 20ish.
They had all their own songs but we are going the cover band route. The guitarist is young (20) me and the singer are 26 and the drummer is 40. Lots of different influences so it seems to have worked out ok.

( ) --We play great, nailed nearly every note that night, rehersal was key of course, first show always can determine your rep I'd imagine.
