First live bass solo!

Sign in to disble this ad
I know its not the best quality, but with headphones in you can pick mostly everything up. It sounded awesome, and fet great. I worked on about 4 different versions, then stuck them together in pieces to make a decent solo.

Thanks for the watch guys! Remember, this is my first live solo!

Cissy Strust Bass Solo

I can give an exact time, but a whole watch and overall assessment would be awesome!

And yes, if you read me Music Appreciation Rant thread, this is the same show.

Tasty. Nice to know a younger generation is carrying the torch for old music. All three of you have talent.

Thanks! We are trying to keep a part of my generation driven by funk, instead of scene music.

Dark, if I knew how to quote two posts in one reply, I would. Yes, my bass is known as Brad.

The little " thingy beside the quote box, is the multi quote, click on that, it'll turn red, same on every post you want to quote, then hit regular 'ol reply.

Song is pretty cool, not really my cup of tea, TBQH, but did sound good.

Im just lucky. I was bandless for 3 years, and these guys had a bassist who didnt even know what he was doing. They would play Allman Brothers songs, and he would sit out! Finally they got in a fight and he left, so I got a call. I worked towards it for a long time, and am very lucky.

Plus, we are all great friends, so its a nice vibe.

I did my first live bass solo earlier this year. We were playing metallica, so it was basically just a shred.

Nice work though.

Well, you brought it up... One of my favorite books (the movie was pretty good too).
