my band did its first real gig, the gig before this one was a birthday party and we only did 3 songs. we were just a filler for that show.
This show we only did 5 songs, but the show was stopped after the 5th song.
A week before the show my amp blows, the drummer breaks 2 heads, one of the guitarists pedals break, the other guitarist cant find his cords and the mic breaks. I think Murphy and his law were out to get us - Also we didn't have a PA till last minute. We played last and everyone seem real pumped up to hear us everyone stood up got right up there with us and moshed jumped around had an all out good time people who were in the main bar area even got up just to see us it was great, the guys from the other bands look a lil disappointed and girl in the audience looked like she couldn't figure out why my bass had 6 strings.
after our 5th song the drummer from the first band announces that this is the last show at this particular bar (it was in a room connected to the bar) by saying this is the last show here the bartend is being a F*****G B****H and then the bouncer and the bartenders brother came in and kicked out the other bands and the audience and gave us props for being good and what not i think
also i realize this is in not in good context and i scrambled i apologize as i am very sick at the moment and thought to share this now as the show was Saturday and i have been in bed since the next morning
