Our band split a little over two years ago. We've been back together for a few months. Playing our first show tonight.

Chances are I'll get on the stage and forget everything.

I'm excited anyway!

Where were you playing? Did you at least get some good tunes out there?

Yeah. We played for about an hour. The police showed up twice. The second time the state police came. We werent that loud either. But we were in a valley. We could hear the echos ourselves so I imagine the sounds carried pretty far.

Heh, maybe you're definition of "not that loud" is, like, super-duper rock 'n roll? Because if you can hear echoes, seems like it was probably pretty loud!

Out here city ordnance is any noise plainly distinguishable at 200 feet (I wonder how they judge that). If they have similar laws, some of those echos could have really screwed you over. Hope the first hour was fun! How'd it go with the band?

Ahh always great to hear stories that remind me of the good ole days. I once played a party that got so out of hand...... the coast guard and police helicopters showed up with aerial spotlights to help out the officers on the ground.

A good tip I learned about playing parties is to get paid in advance. When we show up with our gear....that's when we get paid.

The band stuff is coming along great. Even after a two year break. Its almost like we never stopped. But yeah, the time we did get to play we had fun.

mboogie... that must have been a hell of a party!
