... I sprained my left wrist last Friday, so I won't be playing bass...
The post-punk band I'm in, Razorblade Monalisa, hasn't played a show since early 2009. We sort of had an extended break... And now that we finally decided to play a show after so long, it turns out I am too crippled to play it. Bleh!!!
I guess I'll just be banging on a tambourine or something. Kevin of the Common Men will be filling in for me (he used to drum for us, so he is already familiar with most of the songs), and he will undoubtedly do a fine job.
Thankfully, the sprain is minor, so within a couple of weeks I should be able to play bass properly again...
