After being in a band for about a week, we played our first gig tonight. All I can say is, even though we messed a few times, we didn't totally suck. It was pretty fun actually. It was a big huge party at the homecoming queen's house. It was pretty high profile for a first gig, but we rocked it hard. The funniest thing was all the drunk people. There was some guys dancing on my amp and the dude fell off and almost knocked me over. Then I started playing some grooves and some guys started rapping. It was a great experience to have as a first gig. Except for the end of the night when we were loading up and some guy tried to pick a fight with the drummer. That wasn't as fun. But I lived through and it rocked..
