I think it's really funny that the two people who have posted in this thread about original stage moves both joined in May 2007, and their names are "4StringedFreak" and "4StringFury."

Whatever you do, it's been done. Unless you're the bassist from Cinderella you have nothing to complain about. (He invented the b**** toss)

Your "thing" has been done to death. You didn't create it; not even close.

Had the guy surrounded himself by potted petunias, put his pants on his head, and cracked a whip between songs...and that was your shtick...you'd have a case.

Hey! That's my shtick.... don't you be taking it! I feel it adds a touch of class to weddings. Sometimes I even add a few white roses to the petunias, just to add a touch of romance.

My name is Zach Strickland, but they just call me Stricky. Since the other guys name came up.

Anyway Ive tried to do original stuff for a long time, and then I go watch Alice Cooper Concerts, and he has done friggin everything. It is impossible to come up with things alice hasnt done.

Like our guitar player was gonna set his Strat on fire and
everything but some chick told us that her dad told her
that Jimi Hendrix did it like 40 years ago. Our guitar player
got so pissed when he heard that.

Ain't a whole lot new under the sun these days folks.

Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken.

Obviously nothing original, but I've seen it where a guy will watch my show, then I see him do something I did a few weeks later, but really, that's how music is: Some guy plays a really cool lick? Steal it, make it your own. I'm not saying we need 20 or 30 renditions of Fire, but the same principle with stage presence applies to music: accumulation and assimilation.

You stand on his drums? Must be a mellow dude, any other drummer I've ever met would slaughter you for that. Literally. You would die.

Yeah, I would not want to piss off my drummer while showing him my back. Especailly with my but at an easily reachable level while he is holding those drum sticks

The drummer spends as much or more on gear than anyone else in the band. I don't understand idiots that jump on/into a drumset (or the idiots that let them.) No respect.
