| Update: The club owner called the bandleader and said they had road flooding and the authorities were urging people to stay off the roads, so he's probably closing down the club for the night. The club is in a small, strip mall type building, with glass across the front (like it's been converted from a store front) and has curtains in the windows. The bandstand is backed up to these windows. I just hope they have a very good roof and that one of these small, spin-up and here and gone small tornadoes doesn't knock out the glass before we can get there tomorrow and load out. And here's a TS Lee Update: At about 6pm CDT tonight we emptied my rain gauge... it had 5 inches of rain since yesterday. Had about 1.5" this morning. I live very near the airport west of Mobile in a small community called Semmes. We've been under several tornado warnings and had some really gusty winds. The ground clearly can't hold any more water so the flooding will get worse rapidly. There are some rivers around here that will be flooding, probably badly. I used to live on Fish river east of Fairhope and a large, slow moving storm is a worst case scenario for them. TS Danny in 97 caused the water to rise 15 feet in a matter of minutes as all the water in the watershed came rushing down river. I'm safe and high, but some of my south Alabama brethren are not going to be so lucky.
