At a charity gig today we were given all the left over helium balloons at the end, so while we were waiting for the train home we tied 'Band will play any style for beer, [phone no.]' to all of them (about 8) and set them free. No gigs have come in yet but I'm sure its only a matter of time.

You probably would have gotten more gigs by sucking on the helium and performing as a barbershop quartet in the style of Alvin and the Chipmunks on the train ride home.

heh, we played on the train too (no helium voice though ), most of our stuff for this gig was electro-acoustic so we always jam on the way there/back.
