Ok possibly the weirdest gig of all time, {if you have one better let's hear it}. I was playing at some divey bar called "the Country Club" Saloon here in the Sacramento region this past friday night,so the luxury of having a bouncer or security was out of the question. There was the usual blonde bar trash slut who was drunk off her a$$ making alot of noise and just generally being stupid. There's about 30 people total in this place between the back area and the bar/stage area itself right..well there's an old stripper pole on the stage near the edge where I am practically next to and my headstock is dodging all night so far. This chick gets up there and starts a pole dance, i'm like..cool..whatever then she swings her leg out and bumps my bass while I'm playing..NOT COOL and luckily I was in too good a groove in whatever song it was to drop kick her off the stage so I let it go. After the 2nd set she came walking by very drunk after we we standing next to the stage and told me to check this out..she came up and vampired me in the neck and almost sliced my jugular vein! The kicker was she did this to about 5 other guys and no one was doing anything about it. This is the most rediculous thing ever, I thought I was going to pass out...it felt like a shark ripped my neck open and we still had one more set to play. What would you guys have done? For sure the most random assinine thing to happen at a gig!

Go get tested, dude. Seriously. Get a tetanus shot and some antibiotics or something.
Ah, you beat me to it by seconds!

It doesn't take a visible break to the skin, and Hepatitis is yet another nasty, life-changer that can come from fluid exchange.
Country bars - bouncers = the very shallow end of the gene pool.
