Got Fralins, new boot heels, and a GIG!

What else do I need?

1. The Fralins are courtesy of Joey Squid right here at TalkBass. Joey's gain is my gain too!

2. The boots are my favorite Tony Lamas which I bought in Dallas and FINALLY got upgraded since I found an actual shoe repair guy in my area who hasn't died or retired. Used to live across the street from his shop, and turns out he was still in business.

3. The gig is at a Moose Lodge in Silver Spring MD but it'll basically be someplace to get together and play some oldies and country rock. This band's working two more shows together next month so I figure it for paid rehearsal. PLUS I get to work out the pickups mentioned in #1.

Good weekend, y'all....
