"Gotta Know" Songs for Corp./Cover Gigs

Sign in to disble this ad
Maybe there's a thread like this already... couldn't find it; a link would be appreciated.

This could be a great resource for "Songs that you better know when 25 inebriated rich people swarm the stage and start making requests". Lots of obvious ones, including:

Brown Eyed Girl
Stand By Me
Mustang Sally
Mony Mony
Twist & Shout

Plus, there's even a few jazz tunes that go over really well at gigs like this, especially when people want to slow dance, such as:

The Girl From Ipanema
At Last

...okay, so what else you got?

It seems most "rich" people throwing Corp. events and privates, are "Baby Boomers"
Classic Rock, 80's Rock & Dance seem to be what they mostly want, In Vegas anyway...

IE;
Don't Stop Believing
Sweet Child O' Mine
Pour Some Sugar On Me
Sweet Home Alabama
Play That Funky Music
Blister in the Sun
Don't Change
I Wanna be Sedated
Should I Stay or Should I go
Tush
Livin' on a Prayer
The Joker
You Shook me all Night Long

some classic Country;
Folsom Prison Blues
Hey Good Lookin'
Little Sister
Ring Of Fire (Social D)

Slow;
Wanted Dead or Alive
Wonderful Tonight
any Waltz

My $$ list is up to about 1000 songs now..
