Great Gig Saturday Night

Played with a blues band that is one my current projects and we had a horn section for the evening. Wow you throw in a couple of horns and all of a sudden it's heaven on earth. Wish we could have recorded the evening there were some stellar moments that night.

I hear ya. I still remember a practice more than 40 years ago. We were a Motown type band, all in high school, and at our keys player's house (Hammond B-3, two Leslies). His dad was a pro sax player. He heard us, and at the next practice he and two of his friends sat it. Two saxes and a trumpet, and they knew our songs better than we did. Sticks in my memory to this day!
