ok, my band was playing at a local high school for a choir contest (we were not in it).And we played or first song "i love rock and roll". Afterward the cheer was so loud you couldn't hear our ending. then our next song was a Fallout Boy and everyone there (500 people) were singing it with us, word for word. then our next song was some heavy song and i just started headbanging like crazy throughout the whole song.then i saw these girls in the back that were just going nuts, headbanging with me. It was so cool. On "brown eyed girl" during the bridge a teacher came up and sang "sha-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-da-la-di-da", with us. the best part was that like 10 girls asked me out. just read our guestbook at http://www.freewebs.com/redmacen/guestbook.htm , that was a great night. I will never forget it.

Sadly it's what people his and my age want to hear. Although being 13 and 16 while only 3 years, is 3 big years.

Here's a few things com'n from me (a somewhat sucessful HS band ): Play what you want to play, just because someone wants to hear it, don't play it, you'll only screw yourselves over. You'll then have to play that dam song forever and ever (at first it doesn't seem bad, but it gets tedious and boring).

Classic rock is where its at, glad to see theres some people like us out there. And you got to play alot of songs for a "variety type show." That's pretty awesome. Keep it up, and get some recordings.

Dan

My guitarist wanted to learn Sugar we're going down swingin'....I am NOT a fan of that song.....same goes for Dance Dance, whoever that's by....the exact same scenario. Luckily....maybe...we couldn't get the vibe right on Dance and I just put my foot down on the other......contests are fun, but be careful with them....I've been burned too many times to care to remember. peace

That's really cool. I had a similar experience when I was in high school. But that was like a million years ago.

I do have one question for you: Why can't teens spell anymore? It seems like everything has to be written in SMS speak.

When did you become yooh? ***?

Seems easier to put "u" instead of add another letter! But what do I know, I'm just an old geezer!

Rock on young dudes! My geezer buddies think it's cool that a whole new generation of kids are getting into the music that WE grew up with!!!

P.S. I saw the Scorpions perform Rock You Like a Hurricane on their "Worldwide Live" tour in '84....crazy cool!

Allrite....yooh gUyS hAvE a gReaT DaY!!!!

Your band sounds like it has a future, keep it up. I went through every bandmember BIO. Great info... Who does your spell checking for you.. a cat?

Makes you guys appear lazy.. Overlooking little details like that really DOES matter. Fix them all.. put some 'polish' on those BIO's Mister.
