as long as we're posting animated guitarists...

...this is a 'woo yay' that I made for b3ta.com (a UK-based photoshopping site):

I believe the bassist is thrash_jazz (sorry, btw). The face is ozzy. What can I say, it was late and I was long out of coffee.

LOL, that's funny... picturing myself as a guitarist makes it even more so!

I wasn't using a pick there though!

That dragon comes in the night is from www.homestarrunner.com

Go to the toons section, then go to features, then Strong Bad e-mails and pick the Trogdor one. Some hilarious stuff on that site. I check it out every Monday (when new Strong Bad e-mails get put up).

how about bass wankers?

there was this one cat who preceded me in my last band... he had the horrible habit of only learning the basic changes of a song and then wanking on the upper strings of his bass, especially if it was a song he thought he was above playing - this was a very narrow minded guy who only liked classic rock. i had the displeasure of involuntarily witnessing this guy several times 'cause I was deejaying at a local club, and learned of his distate for all things not rock one night when he bumrushed the dj booth in the middle of a dance set with a packed floor and demanded that I play a van hagar song.

I played a metal gig with two crazily skilled guitar players on saturday, so i know the meaning of wanking. We played an Yngwie song. With real solos (no bass or drums) at the end. Fortunately, they were realllllllyyyyyy good, so it didnt suck. The band before us, however, was full of not so good wankers, and they did suck.
